Sunday Brunch
Join us for a leisurely Sunday brunch, freshly cooked by our team of kitchen volunteers, using locally sourced ingredients. Look out for our regular "specials" too - a chance to try something different.
About us
The Exeter Inn Community Pub is a small traditional pub in the picturesque village of Thorverton, and is full of character. It is a third-generation family owned pub which has been under the management of a community group since 16th November 2024, and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The walls and ceilings are covered by a collection of weapons, armoury, military equipment, artisan items and brasses. There is also a glass-covered deep well. An open log fire, plus an oil burning stove, help give the interior a warm welcoming atmosphere. As well as serving a range of local beers and ciders, the pub also serves coffee and cake during the day and a delicious Sunday brunch from 10am to 1pm on Sundays. There is also a monthly pub quiz (with guest volunteer 'chefs' providing food) as well as Foodie Fridays with visiting food trucks. And The Exeter Inn is dog friendly!
